The Glenlivet Eternal Collection, Second Edition, 56 Year Old, 1 of 1, was sold for a final price of £75,000 (US$98,146)* on November 20th at the @sothebyswine Sotheby’s Finest & Rarest Whisky Auction.

This magnificent bottle and sculpture underscores The Glenlivet’s continuous pursuit of excellence in the world of prestige single malt Scotch whisky.

All proceeds will benefit the @nationaltrustforscotland National Trust for Scotland, dedicated to conserving Scotland’s natural and cultural heritage.

Introducing The Glenlivet Eternal Collection, Second Edition, 56 Year Old, 1 of 1, a rare and remarkable creation that reveals layers of depth and indulgence shaped over decades of patient maturation.

This second release in our landmark partnership with @sothebyswine represents the pinnacle of more than five decades of craftsmanship, innovation, and maturation expertise.

The elegant art sculpture was designed and crafted by Fredrikson Stallard @fredriksonstallard , a British-Swedish art and design practice based in London. Their sculptural display serves as a modern ode to both nature and legacy. The sculpture depicts the scorched, raw heather branches before their abundant regeneration; they rise from an ancient rock drawn from the Speyside land itself to symbolise strength, perseverance and authenticity.

This rare whisky is now on display at the Sotheby’s London Gallery, with bidding available solely through Sotheby’s Finest & Rarest Whisky auction until 20 November 2025.

All proceeds from the auction will support @nationaltrustforscotland ’s excavation work within the Cairngorms.

The Glenlivet SPIRA 60 Year Old 1965 has been auctioned for a final price of £650,000 / $871,358 *, setting a new auction record for a bottle of The Glenlivet after a ten-minute bidding battle at the @distillers_one_of_one auction in partnership with @sothebyswine

All proceeds will benefit the Youth Action Fund, supporting young people in Scotland, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to reach their potential and make a positive impact in their communities.

Destined for the upcoming @distillers_one_of_one charity auction in partnership with @sothebyswine , we proudly introduce The Glenlivet SPIRA 60 Year Old, the oldest and most distinctive expression from the brand to-date, distilled in 1965 and matured for six decades in a single hogshead cask.

This single malt is presented in the timeless SPIRA decanter (‘spiral’ in Latin), an artistic vessel inspired by the dance of the vapours within The Glenlivet’s iconic stills and the flowing River Livet, embodying our signature elegance and smoothness. This one-of-a-kind masterpiece represents our pinnacle of craftsmanship and unwavering pursuit of liquid perfection that defines The Glenlivet.

The Distillers One of One charity auction will be held on October 10th, 2025, at Hopetoun House near Edinburgh. All proceeds will benefit The Youth Action Fund, focused on education and vocational training in the distilling industry.
